Controls: WASD/Arrow keys to move, Z to attack.

You were once a bag of holding, but now you're a slug of hungering. You want food. So the only logical solution is to go to the Haunted Dungeon of Infinite Apples. Because what else would a self-respecting bag/slug do?

There is no ending; just see how far you can get! The further you go, the fewer apples spawn and the faster enemies get.

This was meant to be a collab with another developer, but timezone and some other issues made it so things didn't work out quite as we'd hoped. Though they had some of the ideas which ended up in this project, I ended up doing most/all of the implementation.

I've spent a few weeks just polishing this project. I may revisit it and add a couple more things (boxes that block your way, an intro sequence, a post-death stat screen, etc.), but for now I want to move on to other things.

All music and some of the sounds were made in BeepBox, while the rest of the sounds were made in Bfxr. (Note that WebGL broke the music really bad, so I'm using some odd hacks to get things working. This is something else I need to look into.) Graphics was done in Aseprite.

The movement is sluggish in a good way ;) It shows that you took time to polish and that makes it enjoyable.

Thanks! it took a while to get the movement feeling good, both visually and mechanically, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Neat little game. Got stabbed on level 14

Good job on this

There's not much time left in the jam, but I'm really close to having enemies done. Thanks for giving it a try so soon, but there'll be more to come!

Im excited to see! You got this!

Alright, final version is up!
